At CentriKid, we evaluate everything. We evaluate Track Times, Rec, Bible Study, programming on stage... At the end of a week of camp, we sit down and evaluate the week as a whole and all the smaller parts.
We evaluate so much, we decided we could be more efficient by just calling it "eval."
Nothing escapes eval. Sometimes we joke about eval-ing the way we do evals.
As an office team, we get together at the end of the summer to evaluate camp some more. We call it "Eval Week." At the end of Eval Week....you guessed it ... we eval how it went.
This is a little bit comical, but the truth is that nothing escapes evaluation at CentriKid.
We believe that after everything we should look back and ask, "How can we make it better?" God has placed us in this ministry where church leaders trust us with ministering and investing in the lives of their kids, so we take it very seriously. The heart behind all the eval is to make sure we do the best job possible at connecting with kids and making the message of Christ clear to them.
